Stan Wawrinka, former US Open champion, gets last-minute wild card to end Grand Slam career in New York

US Tennis Association did not included Wawrinka in the initial list of wild cards which seemed to have ended his hopes of playing one final Major and led to him bidding an emotional farewell to Flushing Meadows in a social media post on Tuesday.
