Mission 2036: How Tamil Nadu’s new sports plan builds on what’s already there

Tamil Nadu’s 2026-27 Budget allocates Rs 1,051 crore for sports, launching “Mission 2036” and “Vision 8-18” to build an athlete pathway from school talent identification through residential training, 10 new Olympic Centres of Excellence, and a proposed Olympic City.
